Hello and a very warm welcome to my blog, a place for me to collect my thoughts on topics that fascinate me.

I currently work at ADS, having previously worked at TEKEVER, Cranfield Aerospace Solutions and the Aerospace Technology Institute. Along the way, I've been fortunate enough to spend time with some fascinating people and organisations across aviation, aerospace and defence, gaining an insight into the technologies, challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.

You will find a strong emphasis here on innovation and how new ideas move from sketch, to prototype, to something that genuinely changes how we fly and operate. This is still a personal blog though, a space where I (and occasionally others) can write about all kinds of topics, including flying adventures, history, and reflections from the wider aviation, aerospace and defence community. I have been fortunate to make some great friends through my career, and this site is one of the ways I share their stories as well as my own.
